The carwash/restaurant/ticket place that sits dead-center in the LA Live/South Park action is this close to being sold, the Los Angeles Business Journal reports (sub. req.), and it sounds like it’ll almost definitely be the future home of a mixed-use hotel.
A small corner lot across from L.A. Live is close to being sold for its listed $25 million price to investors who want to build yet another hotel in the neighborhood, sources said.
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – The hotel at Third and Figueroa streets has been a lot of things over the decades. Most notably it was a Marriott, long before Downtown got a sparkling new J.W. Marriott as part of the Convention Center hotel.
